Desktop Flashover

Most of our brain is dedicated to receiving and processing visual information. You respond faster and more effectively to images than to text or other types of learning material. To make your fire and safety training more impactful, LION has designed a series of demo units, such as the Desktop Flashover.

Safe fire training with maximum impact

The Desktop Flashover has been specially developed to safely provide realistic fire safety demonstrations. In an expanding fire, backdraft, flashover, or explosion, a large amount of energy is released, which of course involves significant dangers. The Desktop Flashover is equipped with a shatterproof window so that trainees can clearly observe fire dynamics.

Easily demonstrate flashovers and backdrafts

Thanks to adjustable gas valves and the ventilation system, you can simulate different oxygen and gas mixtures that are below, between, or above the explosive limits.

Add smoke for more demonstrations

Activate the built-in smoke generator for stronger visualization of a flashover, backdraft, or rollover. The Desktop Flashover is equipped with four overpressure valves and a side door to demonstrate the effects of oxygen supply.

Safety first

In addition to built-in safety systems that prevent the unit from overheating, the Desktop Flashover is equipped with a safety key to prevent unauthorized use.
