The Misty Electronic Blindmask teaches your students to calmly find an exit, stay low to the ground, and follow emergency procedures in a smoke-filled environment - without using real smoke. The Misty Electronic Blindmask comes with one Instructor Unit and two Student Units. These units communicate wirelessly with each other. Each mask is equipped with an LCD film that can be adjusted from fully clear to completely opaque.
With the Instructor Unit, the instructor can control the trainee’s visibility and dynamically vary it from perfectly clear to almost no visibility. At the same time, the instructor can monitor the training exercise without any visual obstruction.
The system features six different channels, allowing up to six groups (12 students) to train in the same environment. Both students and the instructor can restore the mask’s visibility with a single press of the emergency/panic button.
The Misty Electronic Blindmask can be used on firefighting helmets by adding the Misty Electronic Blindmask Harness.
